All the Best Weddings & Celebrations does not currently have any job or intern openings. As an active member of the Association of Bridal Consultants here in New Jersey and a co-coordinator for the NJ ABC Jersey Shore Local Networking Group we do offer networking and education opportunities for ABC Novice members and those who wish to pursue wedding/event planning as a career. The Jersey Shore LNG covers Monmouth and Ocean counties.

If you are truly interested in a career in wedding planning I urge you to join the ABC. If you are interested in an event planning career then look into the International Special Event Society. There are two ISES chapters in New Jersey — North and South. The NJ ABC and NJ ISES chapters do joint events together at least once per year. National, regional and state conferences are offered by each. The more education you get and the more you network the more likely you are to find a position.

If you would like to be included on our e-mail distribution list for upcoming NJ ABC Jersey Shore LNG events and classes please CONTACT US with your name, hometown, and e-mail address. It is from this list of active ABC Novices that I recruit new ATB associates.

If there is enough interest then classes will be formed as a study group for the ABC or Penn Foster Professional Development Program. Arrangements will be made for the projects required as part of the class. Mentoring is also an option. A nominal fee will be charged for this study group.

You might also consider signing up as a volunteer with the NJ/NY Metro Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding.

All of us on the ATB team consider Wedding and Event Planning to be a career not a hobby. It's not an easy or a glamorous job but it is something we all love to do. If you have that passion too then follow your dream and don't give up until you succeed!
